Welcome to Jawbone Pottery!

My works are anatomical in nature using a minimal palette of white stoneware and contrasting black underglaze design. Each piece is hand carved using either the sgraffito* technique or hand painted. Using these processes no piece is exactly the same. However, each are created with the same level of care and attention to detail.

*Sgraffito is a form of decoration made by scratching through the surface to reveal a lower level of contrasting color
